Operations Executive (Production)
A key role at the heart of the business, ensuring we have the right quality and quantity of beer produced and requisite raw materials, and strong relationships with our production partners.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports to: Supply Operations Manager
Key internal relationships: Supply Operations Manager, Head of Operations, Operations

Key external relationships: key contacts at our brewery, raw material suppliers, logistics
partners
Key responsibilities:
1. Production Planning – supporting the Supply Operations Manager with the weekly production planning process – using sales forecasts to plan upcoming demand and ensuring we have the right amount of stock at the right times, requiring a high level of attention to detail and organisation skills.
2. Production Admin – managing all corresponding logistics required to ensure that weekly production runs happen smoothly and efficiently – i.e. arranging road tanker deliveries for the movement of bulk beer.
3. Raw Material Ordering – forecasting raw material usage in-line with production plans,
ordering sufficient raw materials stocks, and managing inbound logistics at the brewery in order to maintain healthy raw material stock levels and to prevent any potential production downtime as a result of raw material shortages. You will also be responsible for negotiating with key raw material and packaging suppliers to ensure that our rates are always competitive.
4. Packaging Reconciliation– monitoring and updating packaging stock levels, ensuring
that our internal system is always up to date and accurate with reliable back of house data.
5. Brewery Relationships – building strong relationships with key stakeholders at our
brewery and contributing towards the quarterly review process in-line with key objectives and KPIs, whilst also inputting towards brewery efficiency and improvement projects, to drive mutually beneficial results.
6. Sustainability Projects – contributing towards any sustainability projects related to the
brewery and working with key suppliers to deliver sustainability-focused improvements with the goal of increasing transparency and traceability of packaging and raw materials throughout our supply chain. This will also include ownership of relevant reporting requirements, such as Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), and corresponding packaging source reduction projects to help reduce our packaging liabilities.
7. Invoice Approval – reviewing raw material and packaging invoices with careful attention
to detail to ensure that all invoices are correct and charged at the right prices as per
corresponding supply agreements.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualification: degree, preferably in relevant area such as engineering or business

Knowledge & Experience
- Strong academic track record, with a supply-chain background a strong plus
- Experience balancing and managing a high number of competing priorities
- Managing stakeholders and communicating across the business
- Preferably some F&B experience, with a strong interest necessary
- Ability to use Google Sheets & MS Excel proficiently

OTHER DETAILS
Start date: as soon as possible
Location: office based in Kennington, London
Salary banding: £30,000
Annual gift: £100 gift budget for each year you are with the business (e.g. year 3 = £300 to spend however you wish)
