Operations Executive (Strategic Projects)
An exciting new role in the team supporting on strategic projects across the business, primarily focused on AI implementation and transforming the time and cost efficiency of various work streams.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Reports To: Head of Operations
Key Internal Relationships: Head of Operations, Head of Supply Chain, Logistics Manager, Operations Executives
Key External Relationships: relevant suppliers and third-party contractors
Key responsibilities:
1. Strategic Project Delivery & AI Implementation
AI Tool Support & Implementation: Assist in deploying, maintaining and training the team on modern AI productivity tools to streamline workflows across departments.
Internal Dashboards & Reporting: Own the maintenance and refinement of internal reporting dashboards to provide actionable business intelligence for key stakeholders.
Special Projects: Drive cross-functional operational and strategic projects from scope to delivery alongside the Head of Operations.
Sustainability Projects: Lead and support company-wide environmental efficiency initiatives, helping track, execute, and report on sustainability goals.
2. Business Operations
Business Insurance: Serve as the main point of contact for company insurance policies, managing annual renewals, certificate tracking, and claims processing.
Ad-Hoc Business Operations: Lead the sourcing, procurement and implementation of projects for ad-hoc business requirements, such as office upgrades.
Cybersecurity Oversight: Act as the first line of defence by managing anti-malware software compliance, ensuring team-wide installation and monitoring device statuses to ensure relevant updates are rolled out promptly.
IT Asset Management: Own the physical and digital IT asset register, ensuring all laptops and hardware across the business is fully accounted for.
Device Setup & Maintenance: Manage hardware onboarding and off-boarding, including wiping, resetting and configuring laptops for team members

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualification: Degree, preferably in relevant area such as engineering, business, or data

Knowledge & Experience
Strong academic track record, with a supply-chain background a strong plus
Ability to use Google Sheets & MS Excel proficiently
Tech savvy with a genuine curiosity for modern AI tools, automation and dash-boarding software
Exceptional learning agility and can pick up complex concepts and technical software quickly and independently
Highly organised with the ability to prioritize and manage competing projects simultaneously without dropping the ball
Clear, direct communication for co-ordinating with key suppliers, leadership, and the broader team
Preferably some F&B experience, with a strong interest necessary

Start date: immediate
Location: Office Based in Kennington, London
Salary banding: £30,000
Annual gift: £100 gift budget for each year you are with the business (e.g. year 3 = £300 to spend however you wish)
